The A-Team (2010)

A Lot Of Fun

- You could fish out a lot of brainless action flicks from the $5 bin at Wal-Mart and none of them would be as entertaining or as clever as the 2010 film adaptation of The A-Team. The film is over-the-top and ridiculous but it is also a freakin' hoot. Logic takes the day off in this story and the laws of physics are broken at every turn, but you easily go along with it. The film is very funny, the action is very clever, and the characters are great. The deadly foursome of Hannibal Smith, Faceman Peck, B.A., and Howlin' Mad Murdock are a lot of fun to watch, portrayed wonderfully by the cast. Sharlto Copley is wild and hilarious as Murdock, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson is all presence and brawn as B.A., Bradley Cooper is kind of annoying but plays the rowdy ladies' man character Faceman about as well as anyone could have, and Liam Neeson leads the whole pack wonderfully as the man with the plan: Col. Hannibal Smith.

Humor, action, and great characters - what more are you looking for? "I love it when a plan comes together!"
